Scope of the health check - information

Cardiovascular

By discovering the blood levels of cholesterol (fat) and different types of lipoproteins, you obtain information about your risk of suffering from cardiovascular diseases.

Inflammation

Do you have acute or chronic inflammation in the body? Through this test, our doctors will discover this information.

Thyroid gland

Metabolism is controlled by the thyroid gland, which sits below the larynx at the front of the neck. By finding out the levels, doctors can detect thyroid disorders early.

Diabetes

By finding out the levels of blood sugar in your blood, you can prevent diabetes. Simple lifestyle changes such as regular physical activity and healthy eating keep blood sugar levels under control.

Blood status

If you are often dizzy, tired or short of breath, it may be due to, e.g. anaemia. This test shows how your white and red blood cells are doing, adding platelets and haemoglobin. You also get an indication of the function of your immune system.

Kidneys

The kidneys clean the blood from substances not needed in the body, so-called residual products. The kidneys also regulate the water balance and blood pressure in the body. By checking your kidney values, you will find out valuable information about your condition.

Liver

The liver forms substances needed for digestion, e.g. cholesterol and bile. The liver stores sugar, fat and vitamins and iron. The liver helps the pancreas regulate blood sugar levels and takes care of toxins entering the body. You find out how your liver is doing through a so-called liver function test.

Vitamins and minerals

If you don't get enough vitamins and minerals, it shows in your external condition, such as increased fatigue, an upset stomach, muscle and joint pains and visual disturbances. Vitamins and minerals are essential nutrients that you get through a varied diet.
